Bei Versuchen mit einem Lagerkörper aus hochwertigem legiertem Vergütungsstahl zeigte
es sich z. B., daß ein einwandfreier Ausguß mit Kupfer-Blei-Bronze bei über iooo0 erfolgen
konnte. Nach dem Erkalten war jedoch das Gefüge des Lagerkörpers infolge der während eines kurzen Zeitraumes in der
Umgebung des Futters wirksamen hohen Gieß temperatur verändert. Der Stahl war
unbrauchbar geworden. Bei dem" Versuch, durch Nachvergüten (Härten und Anlassen)
das ursprüngliche Gefüge und damit die physikalischen Eigenschaften wiederherzustellen,
wurde jedoch der Baustoff des Ausgusses durch Ausschmelzen von Blei und
