Die vorliegende Neuerung an dem im Haupt-Patent beschriebenen Reinigungsapparat besteht darin, dafs der Dampf, welcher die Saugwirkung auszuüben hat, mit Fällungsmitteln gesättigt oder geschwängert wird, bevor derselbe mit dem Kesselwasser in Berührung kommt. Dies wird durch die auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Einrichtung bewerkstelligt; diese besteht in einem Behälter K, welcher mit dem Fällungsmittel, etwa Soda, gefüllt ist, wobei der Dampf zum Durchtritt durch die Masse gezwungen wird. Der Behälter ist mittelst der Hähney und % in die Leitung r eingeschaltet und wird von oben durch die mit Verschlufs versehene Oeffhung beschickt. Die Masse ruht auf dem Siebboden q.
