Abstract

A method of coating a substrate comprising the steps of: providing a substrate; preparing an inorganic component preparing an organic component combining the inorganic component with the organic component prior to application of the mixture on the substrate; applying the combined inorganic and organic components over the substrate; exposing the combined inorganic and organic components to a predetermined temperature to cause a reaction between inorganic and organic components so as to produce a network structure of the coating on the substrate.
