Abstract

A spiral-shaped spring piece (3), having three windings (4) installed with flexible scraping brushes at its interior, is set around the column (1). A hollow space is formed at the spring piece, and is supplied with pressurized cleaning fluid or water through a pipe (12). The pipe is supported to a holding fitting (13) having end openings (15,16) connected to halyards (19). Each brush has an internal diameter set less than the flagpole smallest diameter, at the unloaded condition.
