Abstract
The detector has a signal processing unit (6) that distinguishes the movements of a bearer e.g. patient, that produce an external activity from those which produce physiological activity. A subtractor module receives the movement signal at a positive terminal and signal issued from a filter at a negative terminal, and estimates a signal component corresponding to the physiological activity. An independent claim is also included for a process of detecting activity of a person.
