Abstract

A folding rack drier has two frames (4, 7) mutually hinged. Foldable floor dryer with a base ( 1 ), which is designed both as a floor stand and wall mounting, a first frame ( 4 ), which can be pivoted at one end at the base ( 1 ) and a second frame ( 7 ) which has one end at the other end of the first frame ( 4 ) hooked in and spaced at the other end from the swivel axis ( 10 ) of the first frame ( 4 ) captive with the base ( 1 ) can be brought into engagement, the arrangement allowing the following different types of use: (i) standing on the floor with the base ( 1 ) on the floor with the other end of the second frame ( 7 ) captive in engagement with the base ( 1 ) stands and the frames ( 4 . 7 ) stand upright in a substantially inverted V-shape, and (ii) wall-mounted with the base ( 1 ) attached to the wall, with horizontal swivel axis ( 10 ) and with (a) the other end of the second frame ( 7 ) below the swivel axis ( 10 ) captive with the base ( 1 ) engaged, the frames ( 4 . 7 ) from the wall ( 13 ) extend away in a substantially lateral V-shape, (b) the second frame ( 7 ) between the first frame ( 4 ) which of the swivel axis ( 10 ) hangs down, and the base ( 1 ) folded up, or (c) the first frame ( 4 ) from the swivel axis ( 10 ) hanging downwards with the other end of the second frame ( 7 ) of captivity with the base ( 1 ) is solved and the second frame ( 7 ) hangs down from the first frame so that its other end stands on the floor.

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 1, characterized in that the sides of each frame ( 4 . 7 ) two parallel bars ( 5 . 8th ), between which spaced, parallel rods ( 6 . 9 ) on which the articles to be dried are hung.

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 2, characterized in that the spars ( 5 . 8th ) and thus the frames ( 4 . 7 ) are curved overall so that in state (ii) (b) they extend over the base ( 1 ) bulge out, whereby their connection ( 11 ) below the base ( 1 ) on the wall ( 13 ), and so that in the state (ii) (c) the compound ( 11 ) on the wall ( 13 ), but only the first frame ( 4 ) over the base ( 1 ) bulges out and the second frame ( 7 ) in reverse arc from the wall ( 13 ) and bends down to the floor.

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that the base ( 1 ) has two parallel, elongated elements, the two corners of one end of the first frame ( 4 ) are pivotally hinged near one end of each element, while the two corners at the other end of the second frame ( 7 ) engaged with channels ( 3 ) can be brought, which are in the longitudinal direction of the base element ( 1 ) extend and are designed such that they guide the corners in a transition between states (ii) (a) and (ii) (b) and define the corners in states (i) and (ii) (a).

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 4, characterized in that the channels ( 3 ) have bypassable stops which are the means for fixing the corners at the other end of the second frame ( 7 ).

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 5, characterized in that each channel ( 3 ) on the side of a respective base element ( 1 ) and the other, mirror-inverted channel ( 3 ) is facing, the corners at the other end of the second frame ( 7 ) side fingers ( 12 ) to intervene in the channels ( 3 ) exhibit.

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 6, characterized in that each channel ( 3 ) is essentially L-shaped, with the long arm adjacent to the pivot axis ( 10 ) to near the other end of the base element ( 1 ) the short arm ( 17 ) extends downward in state (i) or in each of states (ii) from the corner of the L to the wall ( 13 ) extends and the stop on the free oath of the short arm ( 17 ) is located.

Foldable tier dryer according to one of claims 4 to 8, characterized in that the base ( 1 ) at least two sticks ( 2 ) that connect the elongated elements to each other and make the base a third frame.

Foldable tier dryer according to claim 9, characterized in that each elongate element has two molded parts which are connected to each other, each rod end extending through a molded part and being in alignment with the main portion of the rod ( 2 ) is bent away in a recess ( 21 ) of the other molded part and is fixed in it when the parts are connected.
