Abstract

Medical infusion system includes a safety closure (19) which is pushed onto or into the injection site (4) to prevent re-injection through the same site. The closure is not manually-removable. The closure and site are associated before use, as a unitary assembly. More than one site and closure may be included. An Independent claim is included for the method of use. The injection is first made through the site of sterile injection. closure is then attached, irreversibly preventing further injections through the same site.
