Nach Zerkleinerung des erhaltenen gebrannten Gutes wird das gebildete Eisen von den Bleistoffen mit Hilfe eines Magneten so weit abgetrennt, daß die verbleibende Eisenmenge dem Eisengehalt des normalen grauen Portlandzementes mit etwa 3,5 °/o Eisengehalt entspricht. Da das Eisen dem Klinker anhaftet, ist z. B. der Zerkleinerungsgrad des Klinkers ein Mittel zur Einstellung des im Klinker verbleibenden Eisengehaltes. Das in der Zusammensetzung einem normalen grauen Portlandzement entsprechende Material wird nunmehr in geeigneten Vorrichtungen, beispielsweise in einem Drehofen oder Schachtofen, einem oxydierenden Brennprozeß unterworfen.
