Der Korkzieher besteht aus dem Gestell a, dessen durchbohrter Kopf α¹ mit Klauen b versehen ist. In dem durchbohrten Kopf α¹ ist eine Spindel c mit steilem Linksgewinde verschiebbar, welche in die den Bund d¹ tragende Korkzieherspitze d ausläuft. Der Bund d¹ verhindert das völlige Herausgleiten der Spindel c aus dem Gestell a. Auf der Spindel c läuft die an ihrem Fufsende entsprechend den Klauen b des Kopfes a^l mit Klaue b^l ausgestattete Mutter e. Fig. 2). Die Handhabung des Korkziehers wird dadurch erleichtert, dafs die Hülse g denselben selbstthätig auf dem Flaschenhals festhält, so dafs beim Andrehen die Hand der. die Flasche entkorkenden Person nur den Flaschenhals, nicht aber auch das Gestell des Korkziehers zu umfassen hat.
