Das Tier ist gezwungen, mit dem Hals in den Freßschlitz zwischen die beiden parallel gestellten Hölzer c zu gleiten. Diese Hölzer c schützen einerseits den Tierhals vor direkter Berührung mit den eisernen Pfosten Λ und b, andererseits kann die Breite des Freß· Schlitzes durch Abhabein oder Verstärken :der Hölzer c auch annormalen Halsstärken angepaßt werden.The feeding frame, as shown in Fig. 1, consists of the two posts α and b.
