Abstract

A protective contact plug for electrical appliances which can be connected to a mains socket, having a base plate and an earthing spring, clipped thereto, for holding and fixing the protective conductor of a three-wire load line, is characterised in that an insertion funnel for the connecting socket of the protective conductor is constructed as a head part, aligned coaxially with respect to the connecting socket, of an approximately L-shaped moulding which stands proud of the base plate and overhangs the connecting socket.
