Abstract

The invention relates to a device for dispensing liquid fuels from a storage tank (1) by means of a petrol pump hose (11) provided with a filler pipe (12) and gas intake nozzle (12a), to which hose the fuel is fed by a fuel pump (3) by way of a metering unit (5) with pulse generator (6) for determining the quantity of fuel flowing through it and which is provided with a gas return duct (13) for drawing off the gas escaping when the fuel is delivered. The duct is connected to a gas line (14) opening into the storage tank (1), in which line a gas pump (15) is arranged which is driven by a hydraulic motor (16), which in turn is driven by the fuel delivered by the fuel pump (3). In order to create a compact construction without affecting those parts of the petrol pump (4) subject to calibration, the hydraulic motor (16) and the gas pump (15) are designed as rotary vane units in a common housing (17) and with a common shaft (21).
