Abstract

A reusable element for temporary traffic surface marking consists of an elongate unrollable and rollable piece of flexible rubber or plastic strip (2), lateral bending of the flexible strip also making it possible to lay out a continuous curved marking. The strip itself can be coloured, refecting or the like, with in addition flexible reflectors or flags, or otherwise a marking film (1) designed in such a manner can be firmly connected to its upper side, e.g. permanently elastically bonded. The strip, preferably of high relative density, lies slip-free on the traffic surface as a result of suction action when loaded, to which end, brought about by pre-tensioning, its underside is arched concavely and/or has pores or recesses serving as suckers; alternatively, the underside of the strip can be provided with a double-sided adhesive tape. The elongate strip pieces have at their ends connecting parts, e.g. burr-type surfaces (7), or complementary parts which engage in one another, one of which is designed as a knob with reflectors. The marking element can also consist of short pieces of strip of this type which are connected by means of a wire and have convexly rounded ends. <IMAGE>
