Es sind bereits auf Türstärke einstellbare Drückerbefestigungen bekannt, bei denen eine im Drückerhals sitzende Madenschraube das mit einem Längsschlitz versehene Dornende des Drückerdornes spreizt. Wegen der Einstellbarkeit auf verschiedene Türstärken muß der Schlitz im Drückerdorn verhältnismäßig lang sein. Ein durchgehender Schlitz am Dornende schwächt aber den Drückerdorn erheblich. Er kann daher den Verdrehungsbeanspruchungen nicht dauernd widerstehen, bricht ab oder ist nach Gebrauch meist so verformt, daß ein Auswechseln des Drückers unmöglich oder wenigstens erschwert ist. Mit Rücksicht auf die auf den Drücker einwirkenden Verdrehungskräfte ist es daher wichtig, das Ende des Drückerdornes in sich möglichst widerstandsfähig auszubilden.
