Description

Arrangement for drawing constant consumer voltage from a network variable voltage The main patent describes an arrangement that allows from a network, the voltage of which fluctuates greatly, a consumer with practical to feed constant voltage. There is a circuit specified in it consists that a voltage divider is applied to the network, one part of which is a contains highly saturated choke and the desired practically constant voltage delivers to the consumer directly or via suitable intermediate equipment.

Such a circuit is shown in Fig. I of the drawing. Here l 'denotes the unsaturated choke, which is the first part of the voltage divider forms. The second part of the voltage divider consists of a highly saturated one Choke d, possibly in parallel with a capacitor C. To the terminals of this second part, the consumer is, for example, directly or, as shown, connected through a transformer t.

In the circuit described, one could also combine the transformer t with the choke d in such a way that one or more secondary windings are attached to the iron body of the saturated choke d, from which the desired, practically constant voltages are taken: According to the invention, one can The effect of the arrangement is improved if the winding of the strongly saturated part of the voltage divider which supplies the practically constant voltage is not formed from one section, but from two or more sections connected in parallel which are unequal with respect to the magnetic flux. This flattens the apparent saturation curve of the relevant part of the apparatus in a favorable manner, as the different current distribution that occurs even with insignificant increases in the flow due to the changed scattering ratios between the winding parts connected in parallel contribute to the effective throttling of the voltage increases. If z. B. the iron choke receives several (possibly three) parallel winding sections f1, / 2, f3, all of which are arranged on the central core of the iron body, e, as shown in Fig. 2, then the one with the central one Winding section / 2 linked magnetic flux essentially only in the iron, during the. The flux linked to the windings f3 and f also partially closes through the air. With increasing saturation, the flux distribution changes very significantly, since at the points of increased scattering, in the example shown in Fig. 2, i.e. at the ends of the central core, lines of force are pushed outwards. As a result of this change in the magnetic conditions, a different current distribution occurs between the winding parts J_t to f 3 connected in parallel, which counteracts the change in flux and the change in voltage associated with it.
