Der Apparat besteht im wesentlichen aus einem länglichen, der Länge nach in zwei Abtheilungen A getheilten Blechkasten. Die eine Abtheilung α ist zur Aufnahme von Wasser zum Anfeuchten bestimmt, die andere al enthält auf einer Unterlage aus Holz b oder sonstigem Stoff ein leichtes Polster b' aus Stoffen, welche leicht Wasser absorbiren, also Tuch, Löschpapier etc.The apparatus consists essentially of an elongated sheet metal box divided lengthwise into two sections A.
