Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist üun die Ausbildung dieser
Dur Trennung notwendigen Einrichtung. Erfindungsgemäß wird .eine einfache Konstruktion
dieser Trennvorrichtung dadurch erreicht, daß die eine Seitenwand der Förderrinne
an dem der Stempelmaschine zugekehrten Ende durch ein an sich bekanntes, mit Saugöffnungen
versehenes und über eine Saugkammer laufendes Förderband gebildet wird und die andere
Seitenwand zu der beweglichen Seitenwand hin abgebogen ist. Diese Ausführungsform
bedingt eine besonders einfache und raumsparende Konstruktion der Trennvorrichtung.
Das Abbiegen der einen Seitenwand dient zwei verschiedenen Zwecken: einerseits werden
die Sendungen während der Förderung in der Förderrinne an das Saugband herangeführt,
und andererseits dient die abgebogene Wand als Abstreifer für die nicht vom Saugband

zunächstliegende Postsache c angesaugt. Sie legt sich gegen das umlaufende Förderband
b und wird so durch die Austrittsöffnung! des Kanals k hindurchgefördert, so daß
sie von den nachfolgenden Briefende e usf. räumlich getrennt wird. Der an dem Schlitz
h2 zeitweise auftretende Saugluftstrom dient zum Druckausgleich, damit ein Ansaugen
