Description
Um die Abschaltleistung von elektrischen Schaltern zu erhöhen, ist es bekannt, zwischen zwei feststehenden Isolierplatten eine dritte Isolierplatte zn bewegen, die durch ein in ihr eingelegtes Kontaktstück eine Stromverbindung zwischen den in den feststehenden Platten befindlichen Kontakten herbeiführt. Bei der Schaltbewegiung solcher Schalter zeigt es sich, daß ein Ziehen des Lichtbogens in die Spalten zwischen der beweglichen und den feststehenden Platten eintreten kann. Um dieses zu vermeiden, wird erfindungsgemäß in die bewegliche Platte kein Kontaktstück eingelegt, sondern diese Platte besitzt eine Durchbohrung, die so groß ist, daß in der Einschaltstelkmg ein Schließen der federnd in den beiden feststehenden Platten gelagerten Kontakte ermöglicht wird. Durch schnelle Bewegung der mittleren Platte wird die Kontaktstelle durchschnitten und so ein Ziehen des Lichtbogens überhaupt vermieden. Da hierbei irgendwelche Verbrennungsrückstände, Sohmelzperkn usw., nicht eintreten, so ist stets ein sicheres Schalten gewährleistet. Die Verschiebung der mittleren Platte beim Einschalten kann, falls eine Momentschaltung erforderlich ist, beispielsweise bei Übenstromschaltern in bekannter Weise unter Aufladen eines Kraftspeichers z. B. durch Spannen einer Feder erfolgen, die im Augenblick der Auslösung durch magnetische oder thermische Kräfte freigegeben wird.
