Description

Mit der zunehmenden Verwendung elektrischer Geräte im Haushalt macht sich immer mehr der Übelstand bemerkbar, daß die zu den einzelnen Apparaten führenden Leitungsschnüre lose herumhängen und -liegen und so nicht nur einen unordentlichen Anblick bieten, sondern auch hinderlich im Wege sein können. Es kann z. B. vorkommen, daß die auf dem Boden liegenden Leitungsschnüre in die Höhe stehende Schlingen bilden, in die eine durch das Zimmer gehende Person leicht versehentlich mit dem Fuß einhaken kann. Es kann dadurch einerseits die hängenbleibende Person zu Schaden kommen, andererseits kann sehr leicht das angeschlossene elektrische Gerät, z. B. eine Tischlampe, ein Kaffeekocher ο. dgl., vom Tisch heruntergerissen werden.
