Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Ruhebett mit eisernem Gestell, bei welchem das bei Tag nicht gebrauchte Bettzeug unterhalb der Matratze untergebracht wird. Die Ermidung bezweckt die Schaffung einer besonders leichten und einfachen Bauart und ermöglicht gleichzeitig eine bequeme, staubsichere und hygienisch einwandfreie Aufbewahrung des Bettzeuges. Gemäß der Erimdung besteht das Bettgestell im Wesen bloß aus einem Rahmen, dessen Kopf- und Fußteil, wie üblich, in Höhe der Drahtmatratze iiegen, dessen Längsteile jedoch derart nach unten gekröpft sind, daß sie als Träger für das unterhalb der Matratze untergebrachte Bettzeug benutzbar sind. Zu diesem Zweck werden die zwischen den Längsträgern vorgesehenen Ouerversteifungen als Auflage für eine das Bettzeug tragende Bespannung verwendet. Hierdurch wird eine besondere Tragvorrichtung für das Bettzeug entbehrlich, und es werden die Bestandteile des Divanbettes auf ein Mindestmaß herabgesetzt. Bei der Benutzung als Divan treten größere Beanspruchungen des mittleren Teiles der Drahtmatratze auf, insbesondere an ihren freien Längsrändern. Gemäß der Erfindung werden die Längsränder durch band- oder seilförmige Einlagen, beispielsweise Gurte oder Drahtseile, verstärkt, die zwischen Kopf- und Fußteil gespannt sind. Besonders zweckmäßig erweisen sich im Kopf- und Fußteil befestigte Stahlbänder, die zur Vermeidung scharfer Kanten, die Schaden anrichten könnten, in die Randwülste des Drahtgeflechtes verlegt werden.
