Arrangement for the remote measurement of rotational speeds, in particular of electricity meters,
According to the pulse frequency method It is known to measure the speed of a rotating
Device, in particular an electricity meter, to measure remotely,
that with the help of a breaker or alternator operated by the rotating device
Pulses are generated; which control a relay at the receiving location. To the incoming
To convert pulses at the receiving location so that the values of the speed to be measured are on
The receiving location can be continuously read, the following procedure is proposed
been. Through the relay provided at the receiving location, a capacitor is connected to a
constant voltage source and then charged via a ballistic direct current instrument
unload. The display instrument shows the amount of electricity discharged,
d. H. an average DC value corresponding to the frequency of the received pulses
is proportional.
bzw. Schließungsfunken stark beansprucht sind. Schließlich hängt die Meßgenauigkeit
von der Konstanz der verwendeten Kondensatoren ab.A disadvantage of this method is that a voltage source
is required, on the constancy of which the dimensional accuracy depends. Because it's constant
Batteries do not exist, one is dependent on a voltage source fed by the mains,
however, in the event of a power failure, i.e. at an important moment, the
Measurement is interrupted. Furthermore, to switch the capacitor is at least
a two-pole switchover device is required, the contacts of which through the opening
or closing sparks are heavily used. After all, the measurement accuracy depends
on the constancy of the capacitors used.
The invention provides a new arrangement for converting the pulses
created at the receiving location, which avoids the disadvantages listed. According to the invention
the received pulses are converted into direct current pulses with the help of magnetic induction pulses
converted and displayed by a DC ballistic instrument. This
The method is based on the phenomenon that with each change of the penetrating coil
magnetic flux, the amount of electricity generated in the circuit of the S- @ ale
is indicated by a ballistic display device in this circuit,
regardless of the rate of flux change. It has long been a
Method for speed measurement known in which a self-induced
Circuit is switched on and off periodically, with one in these
When the meter is switched on, the deflection is a measure of the speed
gives away. This known method is based on the phenomenon that in one with self-induction
affected circuit of direct current is not immediately affected by Ohm's law
certain current increases, but as a result of the delay caused by the self-induction
gradually increases. If you therefore have the interruption and reconnection
of
Circuit lets occur periodically in quick succession, the
The faster the interruptions, the lower the average current. This
known method that, in contrast to the arrangement described here, does not have
rectified induction surges works, has the main defect that the measurement accuracy
depends directly on the constancy of the direct current source used. Another
Deficiency is that the deflection of the ammeter connected in the circuit
decreases with increasing speed and that special measures (differential winding)
are necessary to remedy this latter evil.
As from the exemplary embodiments of the invention described below
shows, it allows to create a measuring device in which only one
single pole switching device, however, no constant auxiliary source and finally
no capacitors are required.
Fig. I shows a schematic representation of a measuring device
this kind; a is a relay provided at the receiving location, which the at the sending location, z.
B. from an electricity meter, picks up pulses triggered. With every impulse
This relay turns the coil b, which is movable in the field of a permanent magnet
180 ° rotated so that the flux passing through the coil changes from a positive to the
negative maximum value is changed. The result of this induction in the circuit
The amount of electricity generated by the coil is displayed by a ballistic device c.
Between successive induction shocks, the display instrument is activated with the aid
polarity reversal of the switch s. This changeover switch is activated by the relay with every pulse
o, actuated and can be arranged together with the coil b on a common axis
be. The relay a can work in such a way that it alternates between the coil b
rotates or actuates the switch s.
In Fig. 2, a further, particularly simple and useful embodiment of the inventive concept is shown schematically. In the measuring device shown, the induced coil is arranged on the stationary magnet and consists of two identical winding halves b, and b .. The rotatable part, which is rotated by the receiving relay (not shown) by go ° with each pulse, consists of an armature d. With each rotation of the armature d , an amount of electricity will flow through the winding b or b, which is indicated by the ballistic device c. Between successive induction surges, the changeover switch s is switched from one winding to the other so that the current direction in the receiving instrument remains the same.
The facilities shown are only schematic examples, through
which the inventive idea is not exhausted.
