Gardinengewebe Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Gardinengewebe und betrifft die neuartige Vereinigung eines Bagdad- und Schaftdrehergewebes. Bagdadgewebe im Sinne der Erfindung ist ein durch Schuß figuriertes, leicht eingestelltes, leinwandbindiges Gewebe mit Figurschüssen, deren nicht zum Muster gehörige Teile abgeschnitten sind. Sowohl das Bagdadgewebe an sich wie das Schaftdrehergewebe als solches sind durchaus bekannt; das gleiche gilt für die Vereinigung dieser beiden Webarten, wobei die Dreherfäden lediglich zur Musterung dienen. Bekanntlich ist trotzdem das Bagdadgewebe weitgehend vom Markt verschwunden, weil es infolge der einfachen Leinenbindung sich wenig haltbar erwiesen hat, da der einge-,vebte Figurschuß besonders bei der Wäsche leicht herausfällt und durch die Dreherfäden eine Einbindung der Figurschüsse nicht stattfindet. Demgegenüber sind beim neuen Gardinengewebe die Dreherfäden derart angeordnet, daß eine zusätzliche Einbindung der Figurschüsse erfolgt und hierdurch ein festerer Halt derselben erzielt wird.Curtain fabric The invention relates to a curtain fabric and relates to the novel combination of a Baghdad and shaft leno fabric.
