Description

Rapid regulator according to the Tirrill principle The main patent includes a rapid regulator described according to the Tirrill principle, in which the coil of the dither relay in one constant field oscillates. If for the polarized DC relay not a permanent one Magnet is used as a polarization magnet, these regulators need an auxiliary voltage, z. B. a collector battery or a special dynamo machine, possibly under Upstream connection of resistors with a positive temperature coefficient (e.g. iron wire lamps). The provision of such an auxiliary voltage is often undesirable. battery and dynamos are expensive and require constant monitoring. Subject of the invention is an arrangement that makes these tools superfluous.

The invention consists in that the polarization winding of the dither relay to which the voltage acting on the main relay of the controller is applied. Does it about alternating current, any rectifier with or without parallel capacitors will be used interposed. This can advantageously be a copper oxide rectifier.

Regulators with such an arrangement have the great advantage. that when voltage changes occur, the fast regulator responds before the Change by the main relay (voltage relay) of the controller to the dither relay is passed on. Z. B. the voltage of a regulated generator, so will let the main relay sink its core under the effect of the reduced pulling force and tension the spring of the dither relay so that it regulates to a higher excitation current. Since the voltage relay is dampened by an oil cataract, the transmission is stopped the voltage change take place with a certain, if only a short time delay. But since at the same time the polarization winding of the dither relay has also decreased If there is voltage, the tensile force of the dither relay has now decreased, and so does the relay the generator is automatically excited even before its spring is tensioned seek to increase. In this way, a much more sensitive control process becomes achieved.
