in Differentialschaltungin differential circuit
Indessen können sich die Widerstände gelegentlich auch während desIt is known that current transformers used in a differential circuit, must be balanced. As an aid to matching the current transformer has been applied to the current transformers shunt resistors and these when calibrating the Current transformer filed until the adjustment was carried out with sufficient accuracy. If the current transformers are used to protect parallel lines, for example in the known figure-of-eight circuit, in which the currents in two parallel conductors are compared with each other, it is not sufficient to match the current transformers to one another, but it must also be ensured that the resistances of the two parallel conductors do not change in relation to one another Experienced. However, the resistances can occasionally also increase during the

B. by relaxing the Connections in the sleeves. With normal currents, this is usually a small change in resistance do not cause any disturbance in the mode of operation of the protective circuit.
In contrast, when exceptionally strong currents occur, for example in the event of a short circuit outside the parallel lines, however, can be caused by a change in resistance caused, normally small difference in the secondary currents of the transducers reach such a size that the relay located in the bridge arm responds incorrectly, regardless of the one assigned to it parallel lines are undisturbed.
According to the invention, means are now provided, the one to be protected when faultless Lines occurring during operation difference between the secondary currents of the converters in the relay branch to disappear and thus avoid an undesired response of the relay in any case. As such means, for example, control devices on one or more Current transformers are used.
In Figs. 1 and 2 Aüsführungsbeispiele are shown, the application of the invention illustrate in the eight circuit mentioned. To other protective circuits The invention can be applied analogously with differentially switched Stromgo converters will. For the sake of clarity, the circuit is only shown for one phase in both figures.
In Abb. An diese sind Stromwandler 5 und 6 angeschlos-In Fig. Ι two busbars 1 and 2 connected to the same phase are through parallel lines 3 and 4 connected. sen. The connection of the secondary terminals in the manner of a figure eight is intended to indicate that unequal winding ends are connected to one another, that is, the secondary windings are connected in series. The secondary windings and the lines 7 and 8 connecting them are then traversed in real operation by a current whose strength corresponds to the strength of the currents in the parallel lines. The connecting lines 7 and 8 are connected by a bridge branch 9 in which the relay. 10 is arranged.
In order to prevent the relay 10 from responding when the lines 3 and 4 are faultless, secondary taps 11 and 12 are provided on the converters 5 and 6 to change the number of turns by small amounts by means of a changeover switch that acts without interrupting the current Converter is changed in such a way that the bridge arm 9 is de-energized even with somewhat unequal currents in lines 3 and 4. To observe the setting of the relay current to zero, a current pointer 13 is used in the relay branch, which is put out of operation by a short-circuit switch 14 when not in use, so that the sensitivity of the relay is not impaired. The number of turns can be regulated in a known manner with the aid of turns which include only part of the lines of force, with sufficient fineness. It is also sufficient to provide one of the converters with a control device. Which converter has to have the larger number of turns naturally depends on which of the two parallel lines has the greater resistance. With the arrangement according to Fig. 1, it can still be regarded as a defect that it requires a special design of the converter and cannot be attached to finished protective circuits without them being put out of operation. This disadvantage is avoided in the arrangement according to FIG. In general, it is advisable to assign such a resistor to each of the current transformers built into the lines. However, it is also sufficient to subsequently connect a rheostat to the converter that carries the larger current. The difference between the currents is thus recorded by the control resistor, which is adjusted to zero with the aid of the current indicator 13 at ReIaIS 1 StTOm. All other parts shown in Fig. 2 correspond to those in Fig. I, which have the same reference numerals.
There are not two conductors to be protected, as assumed in the figures, but a larger number, the deviation may be each line from its normal resistance value by regulation at that to the Line associated converter are compensated in a corresponding manner.
