an Leisten 23 vorgesehen. Die Maschine wird: durch beiderseitige Handkurbeln
27 in Betrieb gesetzt.Potato sorting machine with two nested endless conveyor devices provided with passage slots There are known potato sorting machines with two nested endless conveyor devices provided with throughflow slots, which are driven by a common drive and are guided over disks of different diameters so that they move at different speeds and the cross-section of their free through-flow openings changes. The invention consists in that the drive gears used to drive the two conveying devices engage in the congruent, equally wide passage slots of the lower run of the devices and the diameters of the disks are chosen so that sorting takes place when the conveying devices turn around move the discs higher up. Furthermore, according to the invention, the transverse strips, which form the through-flow slots of the outer conveyor device in a known manner, are provided in the middle with conveyor cups which feed the hand-picked waste potatoes to the discharge chute. An example embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. They show: FIGS. I and 2 the transversely braced conveyor belts in a side view and in a top view. F: ig. 3 shows the sorting machine in a side view, and in FIG. The outer conveyor belt i (Fig. I) runs over two disks 5 and 6 freely rotatable on the axis 9 and io and the inner conveyor belt 2 over two disks 7 and B. The cross bars 3 and 4 of both belts have the same distance and the same width . The belts are driven by two toothed wheels 12 which are fixedly seated on shaft ii and which mesh with the lower run of the belts. The diameters of the disks 7, 8 and 5, 6 are dimensioned so that the slits of the two bands are displaced relative to one another in such a way that the bars of the lower band close the diarrhea slits of the upper band on the upper ascending run, so that a Failure of the potato cannot take place. When the belts run around the upper disks 5, 7, the cross bars of the two belts move against one another so far that the desired sorting takes place. The potatoes falling through the slots are collected in a known manner in drainage channels 13, 14, between which, as is known, a pivotable partition 9 is arranged, while the potatoes that do not fall through the slots are thrown into a channel 18. On the outer bars of the outer conveyor belt, conveyor buckets 16 are arranged in the middle, which pick up the sick or damaged potatoes read out by the people standing on footboards 24 (Fig. 3) on both sides of the machine and throw them into a central chute 17 , the potatoes 22 to be sorted are, as usual, placed in the pouring box i9, in which a roof-shaped cover plate is arranged for the conveyor cups 16, which distributes the potatoes on the cross bars. In order to constantly achieve the same distance between the conveyor belts on the conveying side and to prevent the belts from sagging, slide rails 2 1 are provided on strips 23 , as is known. The machine is: put into operation by hand cranks 27 on both sides.
