Gemäß der Erfindung wird die Federung nicht wie bisher üblich aus Metall — meist dem gleichen Material wie das schwingende System selbst — hergestellt, sondern es werden dazu Stoffe wie Hartgummi, Fiber, Horn, Schildpatt, Elfenbein und ähnliche nicht metallische, harte und hochelastische Materiaao Hen verwendet. Diese Stoffe besitzen durchweg eine größere innere Dämpfung als Metalle, so daß sich Eigenfrequenzen bei weitem nicht so stark ausprägen können.
