Gerichtete Antennenanordnung Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 18. April 1928 ab Directional antenna arrangement Patented in the German Empire on April 18, 1928
Up to now it was common practice to use the individual reflector wires in a directional antenna system individually coordinated in order to achieve a system with optimal directivity. The coordination was carried out through the respective appropriate dimensioning of the individual reflector wires. Such a vote is relatively laborious to carry out, and the required change in tuning when changing the operating wavelength is of course particularly difficult. It has now been shown that a good shielding effect of the reflector can also be achieved if not the individual reflector wires for be tuned, but all the wires of the reflector through a known per se common power line are summarized and the regulation of the phase or the Voting by means of a joint
It can therefore be the sum of the individual reflector wires together with the power line as a common oscillation system, whose shielding effect at a certain
B.«5 Current and voltage distribution through the common voting circle is effected is optimal. This with the common Power line connected tuning circuit is the subject of the present invention and can be used with the various reflector systems. The directional antenna arrangement is used as a receiving antenna system used, the tuning circuit is used to regulate the phase of the receiving system from the reflector wires supplied vibrations. But if it is a transmission antenna arrangement, so two cases are to be distinguished: firstly, the reflector can be caused by the vibrations are excited in the transmitting antennas, or secondly, the reflector wires can be supplied from the transmitter with special energy. In many cases, as is well known, the same directivity of the antenna arrangement ' achievement. In the first case it is necessary to coordinate the in a particular Distance arranged reflector to choose correctly, in the second case must be from the Transmitter vibrations imposed on the reflector wires for the given distance of the reflector is fed to the individual wires in the correct phase by the transmitting antennas will. If the reflector is excited by the oscillating transmitting antenna, the common tuning circuit is used for tuning down of the reflector structure, but if the transmission oscillation is fed directly to the reflector wires, it is used for regulation the phase of the supplied vibrations. To achieve the most beneficial effect is it is necessary to make means for separate amplitude control, so z. B.

A is the antenna system, B the reflector system, both of which are built in exactly the same way. The power line K connects the individual reflector wires with one another and with the tuning circuits consisting of the self-induction coil L and the capacitance C. The connection to the transmitter or receiver takes place via the inductive coupling M. Exactly the same conditions apply to system A, as can be seen from the drawing. The tuning circuit can of course also be connected to the antenna line in some other way, for example by a special coupling, or it can also be formed by a continuation of the power conduction wires, their
The arrangement as it is described and as it is also shown is particularly convenient in that, by changing the tuning and changing the phase, it is also possible to reverse the main flow direction, i.e. to lie towards the original reflector side comes because the two systems A and R can be made completely equivalent to each other. The arrangement according to the invention is of course used in a wide variety of antenna devices; it can, for example, also advantageously be used in directional antenna systems in which the individual radiations are not arranged vertically, as shown in the figure, but horizontally.
