Device for the optional recording of two-tone and stereoscopic
Cinema recordings These are cinematographic recording devices with two lenses and
a system of light entry mirrors arranged in front of the lenses is known,
those for the optional recording of multicolored and stereoscopic cinema recordings
can be used.
The subject of the invention is such a design
Apparatus that enables a convenient and quick transition from one type of recording to the
is possible for others. For this purpose, one of the outer light entry mirrors is according to the invention
can be folded down and the central mirror can be exchanged for a known pair
of plane mirrors forming a right angle with one another.
In the figure, a recording optics is shown schematically, the
shows an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
According to Fig. 1, the lenses with the attachment mirrors are known
together on a common plate, best made of immutable invar
consists, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 mounted; the moving parts are in the position
for two-tone pictures.
a, b.
Dadurch erhält man zweiunabhängige Strahlenwege
The fast lenses have opening r:? and focal length f = 50 mm. In the right half of the apparatus, the light beam falls on mirror i at 7, then on mirror 8, hits the optical center 9, hits the film strip at 1o; the mirror 8 is half silver-plated. The light beam therefore passes through, meets at 11 the completely silver-plated left exterior mirror 11, which is folded to the right about the axis 14, goes to the optical center 1 z of the second lens at point 13, on the film tape. The relevant filters are located there. In the case of the second objective, the cutting length of the focal length can be compensated for by changing the air gap between the partial lenses of the objectives, if necessary. When moving to stereoscopic recordings,. the mirror 1 i shifted around the axis 14 up to the stop 15. The half-silvered mirror 8, which is now useless because of its transparency, is removed. In its place there is a body known at this point (Fig. 2), which contains two plane mirrors 16 and 17 with the stop surface 18 placed one on top of the other at right angles. This stop surface carries several control pins a, b. c, d and is screwed to the stop surface of the Invar plate r, 2 by means of the locking screw 2o. This gives two independent beam paths with the base 7-2r. Since the lens has the opening f = 50 mm 1: 2, it has a free diameter of 25 mm. The base is 75 mm. It was chosen on the basis of measurements, taking into account the research of P u 1 fr ich, H e 1 mho 1 tz and H ecker on depth perception. When switching to stereoscopic recording, nothing changes in the mechanical construction. The light path of the right half remains unchanged. In the left half of the apparatus the light beam now hits the mirror rr at 21, goes after the mirror 17 through the optical center 12 to 13. The recording can be made with or without a filter using the additive or subtractive method. In addition to red-green, the image can also be recorded with another pair of complementary colors.
