Die Erfindung betrifft nun eine Rührvorrichtung zum Bereiten von
Amalgam für zahnärztliche Zwecke mit einem in einem oben offenen Behälter von innen
kreiszylindrischem Querschnitt auf und ab bewegbaren Rührkörper, dessen Stiel in
das Bohrfutter einer Zahnbohrmasebine einsetzbar ist, und besteht darin, daß der

mit mindestens einer schräg oder schraubenförmig verlaufenden Rille versehen ist,

des letzteren die zu rührende Mischung abwärts zu pressen vermag. Der Stiel des
Rührkörpers ist auf diesem zweckmäßig etwas exzentrisch befestigt. Die Zeit der
Amalgamation kann dabei schon auf etwa Ao bis 60 Sekunden herabgesetzt werden; durch
die gründliche Bearbeitung der Mischung erhält man das Amalgam in der Form einer
weichen plastischen Masse, welche sich mit Leichtigkeit in die Zahnhöhlen einpacken

an einem Stiele 3 befestigt, welcher so an geordnet ist, daß er in das Bohrfutter
der biegsamen Welle einer gewöhnlichen Zahnbohrmaschine eingesetzt werden kann.
Hierdurch wird es möglich, den Rührkörper mittels dieser Maschine in schnelle Umdrehung
zu versetzen und ihn gleichzeitig in dem Behälter I auf und ab zu bewegen. Der Durchmesser
des Rührkörpers 2 ist so gewählt, daß er nur etwa 2 mm kleiner ist als der Innendurchmesser
des zylindrischen Teiles des Behälters I (die Abbildungen zeigen die Vorrichtung
in etwa doppeltem Maßstabe). Wie aus Abb. 2 hervorgeht, ist der Rührkörper 2 auf
