Abstract

The set is assembled of at least one nail (1) to be inserted into the medullary cavity provided with at least one transversal bore (11, 12, 14) for the insertion of a screw (21, 22, 24, 31, 32), at least one calotte- shaped element to be joined to the nail (1) to be used as part of an artificial joint, a cylindrical element for joining the calotte to the nail (1), and at least one locking screw (21, 22, 24, 31, 32). An appropriate number of each of the modules can be used for either treating a fractured humerus (83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88) or in order to assemble a humerus prosthesis.
