Abstract

Device for charging a blast furnace operated with an elevated counter pressure comprises a transporting strip for continuously introducing charging materials for a bell-throat closure (1) of the furnace, and feeders arranged outside and inside the closure. The inner-lying feeder is a funnel-like rotary distributor (10) having an axis of rotation (15) vertical to a small bell (2) and an outlet opening (11') lateral to the center of gravity of its inlet cross-section.
