Abstract

A textile pre product comprising fibers or rovings (13,14) is placed on a supporting tool (9) with the contours of the preform to be produced. Fibers may be placed in two or three dimensions and after the placing stage, the fibers, which are not yet fully fixed in position, are oriented into preferred directions by a forming and draping stage (12).
