Abstract
The device has a glow and ion current measurement plug for each or the cylinder that carries a glow voltage in glow mode and a measurement voltage in measurement mode and a controller that clocks the glow and measurement voltages and applies them to the glow and ion current measurement plug synchronously with the combustion processes in the cylinder's combustion chamber.
