Abstract
The invention relates to a solenoid assembly (10), which is utilized particularly for activating a fuel injector. The solenoid assembly (10) comprises a magnetic core (16), in which a magnetic coil (18) is embedded. The magnetic coil (18) activates an armature assembly (20), the armature plate (28) of which is equipped with a number of ridges extending in radial direction (64) for the reduction of leakage flux.
