Abstract

A splitting device (10) is provided upstream of the folding unit for supplying the samples and/or accumulative samples selectively and/or alternately to one of the folding devices. A marking device (20) e.g. blade, is assigned to the splitting device, and marks the samples and/or accumulative samples based on the supplied samples and/or accumulative samples.
