Abstract
The invention relates to a vane cell pump, in particular a mono-vane vacuum pump, having a rotor which is arranged in a housing such that it can rotate about a rotational axis and has at least one vane which divides a working space in the housing into a pressure space and a suction space. The invention is distinguished by the fact that the vane has at least one pressure relief connection which extends between two vane ends, in particular perpendicularly with respect to the rotational axis of the rotor, and connects the pressure space to the suction space.
