Abstract

The foil supply transfers layers on a printed sheet transparency according to a work order with a coating printed with an adhesive and a coating work (2). The coating work (2) contains an impression cylinder (4) and a press roll (3), which forms a common transfer gap (6). The transparency is conductible around the press roll (3), in such a manner that together with the coated side presented on the printed sheet with the impression cylinder (4) and under pressure with the printed sheet a transfer gap (6) is provided between the press roll and the impression cylinder (4). The layers after removal of the printed sheet and removal from the transfer gap (6) are removed from the transparency. The press roll has a smooth cover (10) and a mechanism is provided to reduce or abolition the adhesion of the surface of the cover opposite the transparency (5). An air film is provided to the transfer gap (6) for the production of an air layer between transfer foil (5) and surface of the printed sheet. An independent claim is included for a method.
