Abstract

Transponder connection has the transmitting stage connected with an analog comparator (17) where the superimposed telegram produced by the amplifier pertaining to the superimposed signal is compared with the signals originating from telegram specific second signal sources. The analog comparator is connected with relay logic (7) and the result of comparison is fed back to the relay logic. Transponder connection has every signal derived from the telegram-specific signal source superimposed on the ETCS telegrams which can be selected. A multiplexer (13) is connected with the relay logic by an address bus (adrs). The relay logic applies an address to the address bus by giving a signal reference, with which the multiplexer selects ETCS telegram superimposed by the signal. The multiplexer is connected with transmitting stage (15) for transmission of ETCS telegram superimposed by signal.
