Infolge dieser Erweiterung io erzeugt der schnell durch die Düse 6 hindurchtretende Strahl eine Saugwirkung in derselben, und es treten durch die vielen. kleinen Löcher 9 Luftstrahlen von den Seiten in die Düse 6 ein, die sich sofort mit dem Wasserstrahl innig mischen und durch den Schaufelkanal 4 weiterbefördert werden.In Fig. I and s is the further improvement of the paddle wheel pump shown schematically.
