Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for cleaning and rinsing drinking vessels, comprising a plastic base (3) arranged on suction legs (2) and at least one pre-rinse pan (4) which is secured thereto and open towards the top, in addition to a post-rinse device (5) arranged close thereto and provided with a vertical conductor tube (6) for a supply of water. The post-rinse device (5) and the pre-rinse pan are joined to a common water connection (5) on the base (3). The invention is characterized in that the base (3) is configured as a watertight encapsulated hollow body, whereby the water feed (s) for the pre-rinse and post-rinse device is/are disposed therein. The connections leading to the spray tubes of the post-rinse device and the connections leading to the pre-rinse pan of the pre-rinse device are encapsulated against contact with the water which surrounds the device in the rinsing basins of public houses and similar establishments and are protected against mechanical damage and deposits of dirt. The connections for the supply of fresh water to said device and the water feeds for the distribution of fresh water to the pre-rinse device and post-rinse device are assembled by the manufacturer in such a way that they are fully protected against mechanical damage and impurities even before the device is used. A single external connecting sleeve is disposed on the lower side of the base in order to secure a water hose for the water feed to the rinsing device. Said sleeve can be easily detached for cleaning purposes and re-attached to the device.
