Die Erfindung betrifft einen Arbeitszeitkontrollapparat und findet besonders vorteilhafte Anwendung bei solchen Apparaten, die mit einer den Registrierstreifen tragenden und mittels eines Handhebels (Druckhebels) einstellbaren Trommel versehen sind. Unterhalb des Handhebels befindet sich außen am Apparat ein Nummernkranz, mit dessen Hilfe der Hebel in bestimmte Lagen entsprechend der jedem Arbeiter zugeteilten Nummer eingestellt wird. Durch diese Einstellung des Druckhebels wird die Trommel mit dem Registrierstreifen in die gewünschte Druckstellung gebracht, so daß bei einer darauffolgenden, gegen den Nummernkranz gerichteten Schwingbewegung des Druckhebels ein gegenüber der Trommel angeordnetes Typenwerk die Zeitregistrierungen herbeiführt.
