Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines streufähigen Düngemittels Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein Ver- fahren zur Herstellung eines Düngers aus dem. Schlatmn städtischer Abwässer. Dieses Verfahren ist. im wesentlichen dadurch ge- kennzeichnet. daß der stark wasserhaltige, klebrige und teigartige Abwasserschlainni durch \-orbelian-llting mit Ätzkalk in eine bröckelnde '-\°tasse übergeführt und dann ge- trocknet wird. Bei der Vorbehandlung finit Ca(T ent- wickelt sich bzw. entweicht flüchtiges Am- moniak. Dasselbe kann auch hei der Trock- nung noch geschehen. \'ach dem Verfahren des Hauptpatenres wird der mit Ätzkalk vorbe harndelte Schlamm nun -z. B. mit kohlensütirehaltigen @bl,seti des Kalkofens getrocknet und dabei das ent- standene Calcittinlivciroxnd in Calciuincai-hn- nat übergeführt. T@iese l'berführung erfolgt leicht und sicher und ist meist vor Beendi- gung der Trockiituig durchgeführt, weil die Kohlensäure im reichlichen Cberschuß vor- lianden ist. Das gebildete Calciunicarbonat ist bei den hier in T'r.i-: kommenden Trock- nungstemperaturen ein beständiges Salz. Gleichzeitig wird auch flüchtiges Ammoniak in kohlensaures Aninioniak übergeführt. je- doch nicht so vollständig, weil das C'alciuin- hydroxyd Lias kohlensaure =lunuoniak teil- weise wieder in Kohlensäure timfl Ainninni-tk zerlegt. In dein Maße freilich, als das C:alciumhydroxyd in Calciumcarbonat unigewandelt wird, verringert sich die Zersetzungsmöglichkeit, aber sie wird nicht restlos beseitigt, weil das kohlensaure Ammoniak in der Wärme leicht dissociiert tind bereits bei etwa 7o° C sich wider zu zersetzen beginnt. Die \Tutzbarinachung des Ammoniaks ist daher nach dein Verfahren des Hauptpatentes keine restlose. Das gebildete Doppelsalz kann ;länn für sich verwertet oder dem getrockneten Abwasserschlammdünger .z. B. dadurch _ zugemischt werden, daß es der voraufgehenden Trockentrommel im äußersten Endteile zur Durchmischung übergeben wird. Es kann z.
