Am oberen Ende der Schlange tritt das Dampf-öl-Gemisch aus und gerät dabei in eine kreisende Bewegung, wodurch immer neue Ölmoleküle wiederholt mit dem Dampf gemischt und so vollkommen geruchlos gemacht werden. Um eine gleichmäßige Verteilung des ausströmenden Dampfes zu ermöglichen und ein Mitreißen von 01 in die Vakuumleitung zu verhindern, ist die Rohrschlange am oberen Ende mit einer Reihe seitlicher Austrittsöffnungen versehen.
