Description

Einrichtung zur Konstanthaltung der Spannung : von Gleichstrommaschinen mit Nebenschluß- oder Fremderregung Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung an Gleichstromerzeugern zur Erzielung konstanter Spannung bei veränderlicher Geschwindigkeit, die besonders für elektrische Wagenbeleuchtung mit Achsenantrieb geeignet ist. Das Hauptmerkmal der Erfindung besteht darin, daß an die Klemmen der Maschine eine auf die Maschine gegenerregend wirkende und der Spannung einer Batterie, die während des Betriebes dauernd geladen wird, entgegengeschaltete Wicklung angeschlossen ist. Der Ausgangspunkt für die Erfindung ist, daß eine vollgeladene Batterie, welche noch Ladestrom empfängt, eine genaue gleichbleibende Spannung dem Strom entgegensetzt, während seine Batterie, die abwechselnd geladen und entladkn wird, ihre Spannung um zo bis 2o% verändert. Eine solche Anordnung ist deshalb für eine genaue Regelung der Maschinenspannung ganz unverwendbar, während eine stetig geladene Batterie sich' vorzüglich hierzu eignet. Es wurde gefunden, daß wenigstens gewisse Arten von Sammlern, wie z. B. die der alkalischen Type, eine dauernde Ladung (oder überladung) ohne Schaden aushalten und dabei eine beinahe gleichbleibende, vom Strom praktisch unabhängige Spannung der Ladung entgegensetzen. Falls die in Reihe mit der Batterie geschaltete Wicklung nur einen verhältnismäßig kleinen Bruchteil der Klemmenspannung des Generators aufnimmt, kann die Gesamtänderung der Spannung auf jeden erwünschten Wert vermindert werden. Außer der Haupterregung und der genannten Gegenerregung kann die Maschine mit beliebigen anderen Erregerwicklungen versehen werden, die z.
