Am unteren Ende steht jede Kammer durch ein Rohr m m1 m2 mit einem Cylinder H in Verbindung, in welchem sich ein Kolben K durch Zahnstange f und Rad r unter Anwendung einer Kurbel i verschieben läfst. Unten hat der Cylinder einen Auslauf χ und oben steht der Cylinder durch ein Ansatzrohr d und Gummischlauch g oder auf sonst geeignete Weise mit dem höher gelegenen Transportfafs in Verbindung. Schiebt man den Kolben K ganz abwärts, wie. in der Zeichnung dargestellt, so füllen sich durch d und durch die Zweigrohre m m1 m? die Kammern A B C. Hebt man nun den Kolben K, so läfst sich je nach der Hubhöhe Y2 1, 1 1 oder auch der ganze Inhalt des Apparates, 2 1, aus χ abziehen. Hebt man nämlich den Kolben bis eben über die Mündung m2 in die in Fig. 1 in punktirten Linien gezeichnete Lage, so entleert sich die Kammer C. Hebt man den Kolben über m1, so entleert sich C und B, hebt man den Kolben dagegen über m, so entleert sich C B und A.
