Weiterhin gibt auch der Schuhschaft an dieser Stelle leicht nach, da hier die beiden Vorderteile des Schaftes durch den Schnürsenkel verbunden sind, so daß der Halter bequem eingeführt werden kann. Der neue Halter hat den Vorteil, daß er billig herzustellen ist, nicht an dem Schuhschaft angenäht werden muß, so daß er an jedem Schuh verwendet werden kann, und in zusammengelegtem Zustande sehr flach ist, also keinen lästigen Druck auf den Fuß ausübt.
