Description

Method for wireless messaging with simultaneous Flodulation of the carrier wave in amplitude and frequency. The invention relates to a System for the specific identification of working radio stations and is based on the fact that, the carrier oscillation of the transmitter in the amplitude modulated by the speech Rhythm of a special call or identification symbol for each transmitter around: some hundred vibrations increased, d. H. is modulated in frequency. This double Modulation is known per se. The means of production is just as well known the frequency change, namely a capacitor with a correspondingly low capacity, which the open oscillation circuit of the transmitter by means of an automatic switch will switch in parallel. This switch, driven by a small motor or clockwork, is designed so that it has a certain number of contacts during one revolution of longer or shorter duration, according to the rhythm mentioned above, between mediated by the additional capacitor and earth. The other assignment is on the antenna side of the oscillation circuit is firmly connected. The small change in the carrier frequency a few hundred oscillations does not cause any noticeable changes in volume in the normal receiver tuned to the carrier wave.

To such a working transmitter with a remote receiver to be able to search, the receiving circle becomes after rough coordination means beforehand a superimposer excited to vibrations for a brief moment and fine-tuned. During the whistling, you will immediately find the station you are looking for at the rhythm be able to determine its distinguishing mark. Normal reception is then activated passed over.

The great advantage of the process is based on the fact that you have a transmitter, to be coordinated with, not only during a program break on the previous one recognizes usual pause signs or by the announcer as the wanted or wrong one, but the recipient will be on hand to the new recognition device at any time, too during the transmission of the telephone message, immediately set correctly what with the large number of closely spaced transmitting stations is of extraordinary importance, since few recipients with one enough precisely working wave knife are set up. In addition, the previous, sometimes persistent feedback disturbances not, as one might assume, miss, hear, but on the contrary diminished; a reception with a vibrating antenna is completely excluded because the performances immediately from the distinctive mark be drowned out. Albeit the establishment for that pure detector receiver is out of the question without voting superimposers, this is because of the latter to do without their short range.
