Asynchronous motor for switching to two different numbers of poles

Two-phase windings known in which the individual winding parts when switching
on the one hand partly maintaining the phase, partly swapping it, on the other hand also
partly keep the current direction, partly swap them.
Abb.
A, B an dieselben beiden äußeren Phasen des Zweiphasennetzes angeschlossen.
beibehalten.Fig. I of the drawing shows such a pole-changing two-phase winding as a winding diagram. The winding is switched from 6 to 4 poles, i.e. in a ratio of 3: 2. For the number of poles 6, the coil ends are connected to the two outer phases aα b according to the letters aα b and according to the minus and plus signs; for the number of poles 4, the coil ends are connected to the same two outer phases of the two-phase network in accordance with the letters A, B. In the first case there is a 6-pole, in the second case a 4-pole magnetic field, which can be recognized by the arrows drawn in the winding. The winding is broken down into individual parts in such a way that when switching from 6 to 4 poles, the winding parts I and II maintain both the phase and the current direction, the winding parts III and IV maintain the phase and reverse the current direction, the winding parts V and VI swap both the phase and the current direction and finally the winding parts VII and VIII swap the phase and maintain the current direction.
The invention now relates to an asynchronous motor for pole changing

is available. Such an induced two-phase winding useful for two numbers of poles
is particularly suitable as the rotor winding of pole-changing asynchronous motors in the stator
suitable because none
Changeovers in the secondary circuit of the motor
are required and the secondary current is still required for one or both numbers of poles
can be regulated in the usual way via connected resistors. Also is

three slip rings.
an drei Schleifringe angeschlossen.Fig.2 of the drawing shows an embodiment of the invention in which the rotor winding of a pole-changing asynchronous motor is connected to controllable resistors for both pole numbers. Four chained two-phase windings 3 to 6 connected in parallel to one another are formed. The interlinking points of the four two-phase windings are connected to the common slip ring 7. Similarly, the ends of the four two-phase windings to the slip rings 8-1 5 are connected. The regulating or series resistors I6, I7, I8 and I9 are switched on in the individual two-phase windings via the slip rings. The centers of the individual series resistors are connected to one another and to the slip ring 7. When switching over, the two-phase winding 3, which consists of winding parts I and II, retains the current direction in both phases, as can be seen from the winding diagram in Fig. I. The two-phase system 4, which consists of the winding parts III and IV, changes the direction of the current in both phases. The two-phase system 5, consisting of the winding parts V and VI, exchanges the phase and the current direction in both parts. The two-phase system 6 consists of the winding parts VII and VIII and exchanges the phase in both parts and maintains the direction of the current. The currents in the individual two-phase windings can therefore develop in the desired manner both before and after pole reversal without interference. The speed of the asynchronous motor can therefore be regulated for both numbers of poles by means of the series resistors without having to switch over the rotor winding. Instead of connecting the winding parts I to II and III to IV, winding parts I can also be connected to IV and II to III. Likewise, one could connect the winding part V with VIII and VI with VII to form a two-phase system. If speed control or starting is only required in one speed range of the motor, the individual winding parts are advantageously connected to one another in such a way that only three slip rings are required to which the series resistor is connected. For one number of poles, the individual winding parts are then connected in parallel within both phases and connected with their common ends to four slip rings or, by means of a chain, to three slip rings.
I ausgebildeten
Wicklungsschema.
Fig. 3 shows the new circuit again on the one designed according to Fig. I.
Winding scheme. With the low number of revolutions, i.e. for the number of poles 6, the
Winding parts I, III, V and VII, which belong to one phase, and also the
Winding parts II, IV, VI and VIII of the other phase within each phase to one another
connected in parallel. The two winding groups are linked to one another and
connected to the three slip rings 2o, 2I and 22. For the low speed can
hence the motor like a normal asynchronous motor by means of series resistors
be managed. If the number of poles is 4, i.e. the higher number of revolutions,
then the following occurs: Swap I, III, V and VII within winding group
the winding parts V and VII the phase and the winding parts III and V the current direction.
In this group, two short-circuited,

II, IV, VI and VIII the case. Here the winding parts II and IV form a short circuit
and likewise the winding parts VI and VIII. The winding therefore behaves in all of them
