Description
Jigging machine Jigging machines work in the way in dead water to let that not the setting water by the action of pistons or compressed air, but the setting sieve carries out the setting movement by pushing (upsetting) into the water known. Since it is necessary with such compression sieve setting machines, the set material to convey a movement from the task to the discharge side, one allows For this purpose, the setting screen perform two movements, one vertical and from going lifting or setting movement and a horizontal going back and forth Push or transport movement. For these institutions - see also the best known Representative of this type of setting machine, the upsetting machine from H a n -c o c k - the movement of the setting screen takes place through a special resistance element o. The like. In such a way that the sieve at the beginning of its lowering movement is its main one Backward movement, i.e. its movement from the discharge side to the feed side makes, while this movement is only slight at the end of the lowering movement. But there with At the beginning of the lowering of the sieve, the sediment is still resting on the sieve, so it is through the backward movement is not only partially taken back to the feed side, but - it will also be the separation carried out with the respective preceding upward stroke and separation of the setting material disturbed again. To avoid these evils and to achieve a more economical operation of such facilities, it is on It is best that the sieve carries out its transport return movement while the grain is still floating. Since in this case the material to be set floats in the water, a disturbance can occur the setting process by remixing the layered material and taking it back of the goods towards the feed side not due to the horizontal movement of the sieve enter.
It is now possible to do this by having the horizontal movement of the sieve can be controlled independently of the vertical movement, namely in the Phase offset against this, so that when the sieve is lowered, the vertical movement first large against the horizontal movement and finally the latter is large against the former. However, this requires an intricate mechanical construction with many rods, Knots and joints, which brings with it operational uncertainties. A small shift the phase can destroy the whole effect. But this occurs in the running The more intricate the construction, the easier it is to operate, namely through Knocking or dead movements in the joints, slipping of adjustable eccentrics, Cams or the like
.An attempt to reverse the transport movement when the goods are still floating commuting The suspended sieve can be reached by having the movement of the sieve derived from a thumbwheel in such a way that the downward gear is gravity-locked "was also unsuccessful because of the inertia of the im Water floating sieve, its openings through the mass of ore lying on it, so to speak be closed, is the only thing that matters. and the process also by that the sieve is not a free falling movement, but a movement along a circular line has to perform, as well as by the fact that the friction of the water when passing through the sieve is far too big to allow a strong upward flow of water and thus a To be able to classify the ore was made more difficult. .
According to the invention, a trouble-free setting process is achieved and thus the greatest economic efficiency of these upsetting machines in the simplest way by having the movement of the suspension point of the sieve through a special Guided tour in the manner of a backdrop according to the rule that the return movement of the The sieve should be made stronger, the looser the setting material or the stronger the setting process has already been initiated. Technically the easiest and for many Cases enough, this is achieved by a straight slide guide, as this at least the ratio of lifting and pushing movement despite the different accelerations remains constant. In the case of goods that are more difficult to settle, however, the sliding surface becomes curved so that when lowering the sieve first the setting effect, .then against At the end of the lowering movement, the transport effect occurs. For raw material that is only proportionate slowly sets, a slide guide should be used in which the lowering and backward movement of the screen is independent of the upward and forward movement: In The drawing is a schematic representation in Fig. i an embodiment of the invention reproduced, in which the suspension point of the screen is in a straight toboggan run. Figs. 2 and 3 show guideways on a larger scale the suspension point for material that is difficult and slow to set.
In the water tank a , the setting sieve b is suspended in a pendulous manner by means of the crank rods c, d. The cranks are firmly keyed on their shafts e displaced above the box a. The cranks /, which are connected by a rod ä to form a parallel crank mechanism, are offset against the crankshaft on the shafts e. This receives a reciprocating movement from an eccentric, which gives the sieve .b its general lifting and lowering movement. Due to the position of the eccentric shown, this up and down movement of the sieve is so bexness, en that the acceleration is still low up to almost half of the upward and downward movement, while it is high towards the end of these movements. is.
Abb. i mittels eines Gleitstücks o in einem Schlitten i geführt. In the case of material that can be placed at low cost, the sieve b is in accordance with. Fig.i means a slider o guided in a slide i. Since the guideway is straight, so here at least the ratio of stroke and thrust acceleration remains constant, so that a trouble-free setting process is achieved in the simplest way for many cases will. Due to the intended adjustability of the inclination of the slide guide by means of Bolt h and slide L can also be easily adapted to the individual case carry out. For material that is difficult or slower to settle, such as ores with little specific weight difference or Lower Silesian coal, however, this is enough straight slide guide is not off. In this case, the setting screen b leads in a slide guide according to Fig. 2, in which the sliding surfaces! ' in her lower Part, are curved in such a way that the initially only lowering sieve towards the end of this Movement, i.e. when the goods are floating, first executes its return movement. Since the the backward movement of the sieve subsequent forward movement, however, is less Accelerates, it will again be reflected on the sieve according to its- specific weight differences and its grain properties this way after the discharge side, where an overflow m in a known manner is provided, transported there.
In the case of raw material that is very unfavorable or that can be set slowly, both must be used Up and forward movement of the sieve b take into account that the forward movement only takes place after the weaning process has started, d. H. only at the end of the upward movement. In this case, a closed curve guide i "according to Fig. 3, which is composed of the two guides suggested in Fig: i and 2. In this case, however, the return stroke that takes place when the sieve is lowered as shown in Fig. 2 is useful selected somewhat larger, so that when the sieve moves upwards, for example according to Fig. i, only the usable forward gear is going on towards the end of the upward movement. This has Slide guide also has the advantage of an independent controllability of the ratio of lifting and pushing movements, as the inclination of the slide guide can be easily adjusted suffices to lift and thrust the sieve the requirements of what is to be set Adapt materials quickly.
