Hausbriefkasten. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Hausbriefkasten, dem der Inhaber die vom Postboten hineingesteckten Briefe und andere Sendungenentnimmt. Derartige Briefkästen werden im Eingang des Hauses in einer den Mietern entsprechenden Anzahl angebracht und so eingerichtet, daß jeder Kasten nur von dem Inhaber geöffnet werden kann, sämtliche Kästen aber vom Postboten zu öffnen sind, wenn dieser solche Sendungen abzuliefern hat, die sich nicht durch den Einsteckschlitz durchführen lassen, beispielsweise kleinere Pakete. Damit der Postbote nur mit einem einzigen Schlüssel auskommt, müssen die Kästen einerseits nur von einem bestimmten Schlüssel des Inhabers, anderseits aber von einem für alle Kästen passenden gemeinsamen Schlüssel des Postboten zu öffnen sein.House mailbox. Für Hausbriefkästen ergibt sich daraus der Vorteil, daß jeder Kasten nur mit einem einzigen Schloß versehen zu sein braucht und gemeinsame Verschlüsse für eine Mehrzahl von Kästen in Fortfall kommen.
